A Wyoming County Human Services Committee meeting on May 26 recorded a Veterans Services update that included a volunteer offer to strengthen a pavilion, a Veteran of the Month recognition and approval for a youth Voice of Democracy speech.
Veterans Services representative A. Solina told the committee "a veteran [is] willing to donate time and material to make the pavilion wind proof." The committee also approved naming Natalie Warner, a Genesee Falls native and Navy veteran, as Veteran of the Month. Minutes show the Voice of Democracy speech permission for Abigale Mason was moved, recorded and marked APPROVED.
The minutes list a separate line for a Free Haircuts program but provide no further detail. Supervisor McCormick is recorded as arriving at 10:36 a.m. during Veterans Services business; motions on the items were recorded as carried.
