Several FFA students, accompanied by Mrs. Sanderson, presented a mid-year update recounting the state convention, officer retreat, fall events and the recent National FFA Convention. They listed upcoming activities including State Degree applications, HBR Plant Sales and Ag Safety Day, and asked for permission to attend the 2026–27 National FFA Convention.
The board approved the students' request by a 7-0 vote. The meeting record also included a recognition: "This month’s royal shoutout goes to Mrs. Sanderson and Ms. Dye for their hard work and dedication," acknowledging both advisors for organizing Sandwich Fair events and taking students to national competitions. The committee later reported that the FFA building still needs roughly $200,000 to finish piping, flooring and gas-line extension work.
