The Hillsboro Community Unit School District #3 Board of Education on Jan. 14 approved its consent agenda, which included pay request #14 to O'Shea Builders in the amount of $1,291,638.19. Superintendent Powell asked the board to approve the pay request; Nathan Kirby moved and John Lentz seconded the consent agenda, and the roll call vote was 7-0 in favor.
Board members present at the 7:00 p.m. meeting included President Matt Lentz, Brian Patton, John Lentz, Blake Furness, Kassie Greenwood, Mike Cerutti and Nathan Kirby. The consent agenda also included approval of meeting minutes and the financial report. The board did not record any objections during the motion; the meeting minutes state simply that the motion carried 7-0.
