Davis Community Center Director Bandemer told the council Jo Carroll Energy completed an energy survey and that "we are in good shape." Bandemer said the center's budgeted staffing is two employees to open and two to close, with the option to send one home if business is slow.
Bandemer said several large events are planned, including hosting a West Carroll High School football team dinner, and that staff are now self-staining for the Mini Food Center. Because food must be collected in Sterling/Rock Falls, the center is seeking volunteers to transport items and assist with distribution.
The council took the update as informational; no new funding was approved at the meeting for the center.
