Meuer said the property division is underway and that a prospective buyer of the eastern lot plans to build a home in the northeast corner; staff determined Heartland zoning would limit lot density to one residential unit and complies with the 2045 Comprehensive Plan.
The motion carried unanimously (motion by Budde, second Kesler). The committee’s recommendation sends the proposal to the County Board for final action under Section 82-137 of the Calumet County Zoning Ordinance.
