The Cass County Commission approved Resolution 26-70 on July 22 to amend a program services contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, reallocating funds to strengthen local public-health staffing.
Matt, the staff member who presented the report, said the amendment "is just shifting a lot of shifting all of those funds into personnel and fringe" and added, "It's gonna fund 2 of our positions that we have with the health department. It's about a $150,000 that will move into those lines." The commission voted in favor by recorded unanimous vote (three in favor, zero opposed).
