Council and Parks & Recreation staff recognized winners of the 2025 holiday cheer light display contest, presenting awards in categories including Classic Holiday, Griswold and Jingle Bell Rock. Parks Superintendent Nadine Shawwa announced winners and arranged a group photo of recipients; council members thanked staff for organizing the event and noted strong community participation.
Rosemary Moring, president of the Friends of the Lantana Public Library, announced a library program on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. featuring former town manager Michael Bornstein speaking on the legend of the "Barefoot Mailman," and promoted the Friends’ $10 annual membership. "I'm speaking on behalf as president of the Friends of the Lantana Public Library," Moring said, urging residents to attend.
