The treasurer presented the financial reports for the month ending April 30, 2026, and the board approved minutes from the April 21 meeting and several financial items, including acceptance of amounts and rates as determined by the county budget commission.
"Item h is the approval to purchase of, of a van equipped with a wheelchair lift from American Bus for to for $95,035," the treasurer said while listing recommended purchases. The board also approved the purchase of two maintenance trucks from Cronin Ford at $59,773.12 each and accepted donations totaling $2,780 for athletics and STEM programs.
The treasurer outlined a list of year-over‑year contracts the district manages or renews, including agreements with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Instructure (Canvas LMS), the Hamilton County Educational Service Center for early childhood special education, Frontline for financial planning analytics, and the Hamilton-Clermont cooperative for phone services. The board moved and approved the treasurer’s package by voice/roll‑call votes.
Board members discussed long-term capital planning and a 10-year forecast during committee reports and noted potential funding options (bond, levy, income tax) will be studied further with the operations committee’s facilities assessment.
