Presenters said eastbound Castle Pines Parkway traffic increased about 30% from 2017 to 2025, westbound increased less, and left‑turn movements to southbound I‑25 rose markedly. At the same time, some right‑turn movements decreased from 2017 estimates.
The comparison also noted that some 2017 modeling assumed future connections (for example, Happy Canyon) that had not been completed by 2025, which partially explains discrepancies in where traffic was observed to flow.
