Council members asked about sightlines, cyclist safety, landscaping plans and cost efficiencies; staff said DTJ will prepare landscaping that accounts for sight triangles and that bike ramps and adjacent multiuse trail connections will be included for recreational riders. Staff also emphasized efficiencies gained by completing the roundabout as part of an ongoing construction mobilization rather than staging a separate future project.
