Calumet County Zoning Board elects Fischer as chair, Jannette as vice chair; approves agenda and minutes

The Calumet County Zoning Board of Adjustment elected Fischer as chair and Jannette as vice chair during its May 28 meeting. Winkler moved and Cousins seconded to cast a unanimous ballot for Fischer as chair; the board carried the motion. Winkler then nominated Jannette for vice chair and the board again cast a unanimous ballot for vice chair.
The board also approved the meeting agenda by motion. The board approved the May 30, 2024 meeting minutes by motion; the minutes approval carried with three ayes while Winkler and Peik abstained because they were not present at that earlier meeting. The board recorded attendance (Jannette, Winkler, Cousins, Fischer, Peik) and staff present (Meuer, Giebel, Bonlander).
No members of the public offered participation at that point, and there were no communications read into the record. The meeting was called to order at 6:23 p.m. and adjourned at 6:51 p.m.
