The Lantana Town Council voted unanimously to authorize a contract with Baxter & Woodman, Inc. to compile and submit the federally mandated America's Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA) risk and resilience assessment and emergency response plan updates. Director Crockett told the council the plan is required by federal law and is due in June 2026; the contract price is $36,866 and will be funded from the approved public services budget.
Councilmembers asked no substantive questions and moved to approve the CSA (contract services authorization). The motion authorized the town manager to execute the agreement and any amendments; the vote was recorded 5-0 in favor.
