Commission appoints Planning Commission member, approves courthouse repairs and adjourns

The commission also reviewed a proposal from MTS Contracting Inc. to reseal the buttress walls and replace deteriorating stones on the courthouse east steps at a cost of $11,830 and agreed to proceed with the work this year.
Commissioner Nancy L. Hier moved to approve the minutes of the June 22 meeting; Commissioner Davis seconded and the motion carried 3-0. The board reviewed and signed payroll and other daily statements. At 11:13 AM Commissioner Davis moved to adjourn until Monday, July 6 at 9:00 AM; Commissioner Hier seconded and the motion carried 3-0. Minutes were approved on July 6, 2026, and attested by County Clerk Abby L. Amick.
