Cherry Peak representative Shantell Blackburn met with the Beaver County commissioners to discuss plans for a concert at Eagle Point Resort scheduled for July 17. The commission took the permit under consideration and voted to table the large-assembly application for follow-up.
"Shantell Blackburn with Cherry Peak, met with the Commission to discuss a concert to be held at Eagle Point Resort on July 17th," the minutes record. Commissioner Tammy Pearson moved to table the permit; Commissioner Brandon Yardley seconded and the vote was unanimous.
Commission staff did not disclose the reasons for tabling in the publicly posted minutes. The tabling preserves the county's ability to request additional information, conditions, or mitigation measures before issuing a large-assembly permit; staff will return the item to a future agenda when supplemental materials are ready.
