Water and sewer superintendent reports new jetter, Well No. 3 status, hydrant flushing and training

Water and Sewer Superintendent Jonathan Armstrong told the council the new sewer jetter has arrived and "will help tremondously with preventative maintenance," and that staff members will attend training at C.U. the following day. He also reported that Well No. 3 has been pulled and is ready for a casing‑pipe rebuild, the sewer line for Shimer Square is complete, and hydrant flushing has been finished.
MSA representative Jared Flurh updated the council on Watermain Project Phase 3, saying the contractor is working through a punch list and the project is expected to be closed out next month; staff are reviewing an asphalt overage and will provide more details at the next meeting.
