Alderman raises concern about contractor activity; council holds executive session on litigation

In the general-audience portion of the meeting Alderman Jeff Elliott raised a complaint that Law Excavating had been dumping dirt and materials on Market/Mill Street and that a guardrail had been removed. Mayor Carl Bates said he would consult City Attorney Zollinger and speak with Law Excavating.
Later in the meeting the council adjourned into executive session at 8:00 p.m. to discuss litigation. The council returned to open session at 8:17 p.m. and the minutes record that no action was taken. The meeting adjourned at 8:18 p.m.
Brian Krull also inquired about updates to the Kraft Building and about the Davis Community Center loan (agenda item #9). There were no recorded responses about the Kraft Building in the minutes.
