Road & Bridge to auction surplus equipment; board approves additional items

Road & Bridge staff asked the board to approve adding several surplus items to the county’s online auction list and to authorize appraisal and listing with the vendor Purple Wave.
"So as you know, our 3 blades were you know, we haven't sold them yet, but you guys have already done those," Road & Bridge staff member Heath Cole said, describing additional items including a 1993 Ford from the landfill and other equipment to be appraised and listed.
Board members approved adding the five items and staff said they will contact the auction vendor to set appraisals and a go‑live date. No sale dates were announced at the meeting.
