Council approved an invoice for $872.80 to pay for replacement of the water heater at the Jones County Senior Center.
The city administrator said the council had set aside funds for building and grounds needs at the senior center and that about $4,900 remained in the allocation to cover the expense. "We do set aside or allocate funds for some of the buildings and ground supplies for the senior center...we have roughly 4,900 in there," the administrator said.
The motion to approve the invoice was moved and seconded and carried on a roll-call vote read during the meeting.
