Culver Fire Department to manage its own accounts after county rescinds resolution

DD Malmberg, treasurer for the Culver Fire Department, told the Board the department seeks to rescind Resolution 24-10 so it can maintain its own funds rather than having the County hold them. "The Culver Fire Department now desires to maintain their own funds, which hopefully will be quicker and reduce late fees," Malmberg said.
The Commission voted to rescind Resolution 24-10 by a 3-0 vote, permitting the department to manage its accounts independently. Malmberg supplied meeting minutes documenting the department's request. Commissioners did not attach conditions to the rescission at the time of the vote.
