The Ottawa County Board of County Commissioners on Dec. 1 approved reappointments of two members to the Ottawa County Health Center board and heard that the hospital remains in-network with the county's employee insurer.
Jodee Parks of the Ottawa County Health Center asked the Commission to reappoint Kathy Luthi and Steve Carlson to four-year terms. "She stated the terms are for four years." Commissioner Carla Grund moved the reappointments and Commissioner Duane Morris seconded; the motion passed 3-0. Parks also confirmed the Health Center is in-network with UnitedHealthcare, the plan the Commission approved last week for county employees for 2026.
The Health Center invited commissioners to attend a hospital board meeting and discussed the possibility of the county conducting Department of Transportation physicals on-site. The Commission took no additional action beyond approving the board reappointments.
