Board authorizes special assessment liens, approves payroll and personnel appointments
Summary
Supervisors authorized special assessment liens for five delinquent Mt. Sterling sewer accounts ($145.24 each), approved payroll and claims, and confirmed multiple certificates of appointment and county office appointees including medical examiner staff.
On motion by House, seconded by Meek, the county treasurer was authorized to place special assessment liens against five former Mt. Sterling properties for delinquent sewer accounts of $145.24 each. Affected parcels and owners listed in the minutes include Samuel & Meghan Boley (parcel #000451507283140) and others.
The board also approved payroll (#49686-49769, #49847-49930), ACH claims and regular claims, and certified a slate of appointments and certificates of appointment including Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk, deputy treasurer positions, deputy sheriff, dispatchers/jailers, deputy recorder and other administrative roles. The board confirmed medical examiner appointments (Dr. William Felegi, Dr. Dana Brecount) and medical investigators for two-year terms ending Dec. 31, 2027.
