Kolb elected chair, Voight vice chair of Calumet County Children with Disabilities Education Board

Kolb was elected chair of the Calumet County Children with Disabilities Education Board in a unanimous ballot at the board’s May 27, 2026 meeting. Schwalenberg nominated Kolb and the motion to cast a unanimous ballot was seconded by Voight and carried. Voight was then nominated and elected vice chair by a unanimous ballot in a motion also made by Schwalenberg and seconded by Voight.
The board also handled routine governance business. Jones moved, and Kees seconded, approval of the meeting agenda; that motion carried unanimously. The board approved the Nov. 18, 2025 minutes after a motion by Kees and second by Schwalenberg, with the motion carried unanimously. Five committee members were present for the votes: Schwalenberg, Kees, Jones, Kolb and Voight.
