The Suffield Board of Selectmen on June 3 approved a slate of appointments and reappointments across town commissions and boards.
Selectman Pete Hill moved to appoint Madelynn Dunnigan as an alternate to the Historic District Commission through June 30, 2028; the motion passed 5-0. First Selectman Colin Moll summarized the process to fill vacancies on the Planning and Zoning Commission and said the DTC recommended elevating Kevin Keane from alternate to full member and appointing Bryan Bussolari as the alternate. "Selectman Hill MOTIONED to appoint Kevin Keane as a full member of the Planning and Zoning Commission… and appoint Bryan Bussolari to fill the alternate position," and the board voted 5-0 in favor.
The board also approved reappointments through June 30, 2030 for members across several bodies, including Norm Noble and Ray Wilcox to the Conservation Commission, Joe Sangiovanni to the Building Code Board of Appeals, Jacqueline Marion to the Housing Authority, three members (Mark Blackaby, Susan Hastings and Despina Tartsinis) to the Zoning Board of Appeals, and Scott Wheeler and Brendan Malone to the Ethics Commission. Selectman Kathleen Harrington moved to approve the reappointments; the motion passed unanimously.
These appointments and reappointments were recorded as formal motions in the meeting minutes and will be reflected in the town's commission rosters.
