ALUA approves lot reconfiguration and refers Rocky Road vacation to commissioners

Aaron Spohn applied to amend and extend lots on the east side of Little Ponderosa Ranch, changing a 1-by-4 layout to a 2-by-2 configuration for parcels 8A-H-27 through 8A-H-30, and to vacate a portion of platted "Rocky Road" while realigning the plat to show the actual roadway. During the hearing Shannon McBride opened public comment (no public attended), approved the amending and extending portion of the application, and recommended approval of the vacating portion of the application to the Kane County Commissioners.
The Authority’s action means the lot reconfiguration was accepted at the administrative level subject to any further conditions the commissioners or county staff may set on the road vacation. The recommendation to the commissioners is the formal next step for the vacating/realignment element; the applicant will need to follow the county process for road vacations and plat recordation.
