Public works, ambulance and communications updates reviewed; meeting adjourns

Council member Shawn Phelps reported that public works staff are working with a concrete cutter to locate known leaks in the municipal pool and will conduct additional pressure testing to identify problems. Melissa Bulger said she will enroll Eric in Washington State University online courses and schedule him for the spray-license exam.
Mayor Pro Tem John Hanon read donations: two gifts to the Museum fund in memory of Sheron Rosman and five donations totaling $410 to the Ambulance Fund in memory of Chuck Dyer. Courtney Wyborney gave a short update on ambulance operations and answered council questions. Melissa Bulger said Silke Communications will come to Wilbur to estimate the cost of installing a new repeater to improve emergency communications. Shawn Phelps moved to adjourn; Rich Jaeger seconded and council approved. The meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
