The Plan Commission recommended that the Common Council approve a certified survey map that reconfigures two parcels at 7502 and 7512 South Howell Avenue submitted by the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin. Staff explained the map moves a shared lot line about 93.5 feet east to create a new Lot 1 that conforms to institutional (I‑1) standards and increases the temple's rear setback from 23 feet to 84 feet.
A representative of the Sikh Temple said the change is intended to support a future expansion and to bring the property into conformance with setback requirements; staff noted required technical corrections will be made prior to recording. The Plan Commission moved, seconded and approved a recommendation to the Common Council to accept the certified survey map subject to technical corrections.
