Separately, the board discussed policy 1260 concerning the district’s Educational Foundation. The update addresses compliance with Proposition 28 and recordkeeping for partnerships. Michelle Eugeni, who identified herself as president of the Education Foundation of San Miguel, asked for a correction to the foundation’s name so the policy accurately reflected the foundation's title and recommended clarifying equity-related language to avoid implying equal per-student allocations across all schools.
Board members agreed to accept edits and return the policies for final review; staff will make the suggested language changes before returning the documents for consent consideration.
