County staff briefed the commission on two items affecting behavioral-health programs.
Manager Stoltz said the Comcare sliding-fee scale was last updated in 2021; the minimum income required for a 100% payment was $90,061 in 2021 and is now $101,001.40 in the new schedule included in the backup materials. Stoltz also said the county will receive $220,000 in local liquor-tax dollars to support Comcare substance-abuse prevention efforts; the funds are managed by the city and allocated to county programs.
Both items were presented for informational review and will appear on the Nov. 20 meeting materials for formal action or inclusion in consent as appropriate.
