Board accepts site-safety plans; district announces technology leadership change
Summary
Trustees approved district Site Safety Plans and heard that Director of Technology Mike Vincelli is retiring after 23 years; the Board was introduced to new Director of Technology Michael Sumption. Trustees also were notified the architectural firm Stacked has changed its name to Modus for audit reconciliation.
The Board approved the Shasta Union High School District Site Safety Plans as part of the consent agenda on Jan. 13. The plans were presented for board acceptance and carried without recorded opposition.
During recognitions, Associate Superintendent Leo Perez introduced Michael Sumption as the District's new Director of Technology and congratulated outgoing Director Mike Vincelli on his retirement and 23 years of service. Separately, Business Services notified the Board that the architectural firm formerly known as Stacked changed its name to Modus in December; the notice is intended to aid state audit reconciliation.
