On first reading the Mayor and Council introduced three ordinances: Ordinance #2025-7 to annex parcel 053C 083A into the City of Byron, Ordinance #2025-8 to amend rules governing gas stations and travel centers, and Ordinance #2025-9 to address vaping and hookah shops. No adoption was recorded at the April 14 meeting; the ordinances were introduced for subsequent consideration.
Council also approved a resolution to adopt an updated Schedule of Fees for the Fire Department; the resolution and its Exhibit A are on file with the City Clerk. Because the ordinances were at first reading, any final action or public hearing dates were not recorded in the meeting minutes.
