Applicants must submit requests for this streamline removal no later than 02/13/2026. The second is a standard removal of historic designation fee of $2,928 which applies to all other historic designated properties.” Council added a termination date for the streamlined portion and adopted the resolution establishing the fees.
Council members asked whether staff had reached out to owners who might be affected; staff said that outreach had not yet begun but could be added. Staff also said the initial $2,928 estimate is based on an estimated 12 hours of staff time and that the fee may be revisited after experience with applications.
