Staff announces ADU fair Oct. 4 at Corte Madera Town Hall

Rebecca, a city staff member, told the planning commission about a local ADU outreach event intended to help residents learn about accessory dwelling units.
"I'd like to report that on October 4, there is going to be an ADU fair at the Corte Madera Town Hall, which is 300 Tamalpais Drive," Rebecca said. She described the schedule: a free speaker series from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. covering "ADU financing made simple, design and building considerations, 2025 ADU laws you should know, and tips for submitting your ADU application," and an optional self-guided driving tour from 1 to 4 p.m. with a $25 ticket for the tour portion.
Rebecca said staff from the City of Belvedere will be present at the event. Commissioners did not record further questions or debate on the ADU announcement; no public comments or formal actions were taken on the report.
