The Sunnyvale Education Foundation presented its third round of school grants at the Nov. 7 board meeting, announcing that combined support to date exceeds $100,000. A foundation representative, Shelley Eugenie (S11), described funds supporting performing arts, student clubs and JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) resources across the district’s 10 schools and said the foundation will present a memorandum of understanding in January to formalize ongoing collaboration.
Board members and staff thanked the foundation and asked to take a group photograph after the presentation. The board expressed appreciation for community fundraising and volunteers who supported the grant round.
