The Westfir Budget Committee opened its May 19 meeting at 6:06 p.m. and recorded a quorum with five of eight members present. Councilor D’Lynn Williams moved to approve the minutes from April 23, 2026; Councilor Randy Stark seconded, and the motion carried 5–0 with AYES: Watson, Huey, Love, Stark and Williams.
The minutes show no public comment at the meeting. Chairperson Deretta Huey recessed the meeting at 6:18 p.m. to allow a remote member to join; after technical difficulties Mr. Neal Choiniere joined by audio and the meeting reconvened at 6:23 p.m. The committee recessed again at 6:54 p.m. and set the next meeting for Thursday, June 4 at 6:00 p.m. The May 19 minutes were signed by Mayor Richard Watson and City Recorder Nicole Tritten on June 4 after Budget Committee approval.
Recorded attendance and the formal motion to approve minutes are the principal procedural actions captured in the official record; no votes on budget measures were recorded as final adoptions in these minutes.
