Planning staff (Speaker 2) told the commission the City Council had approved the second reading of related zoning ordinance amendments and that staff submitted Belvedere’s revised housing element to the California Department of Housing and Community Development on Dec. 9. Staff said they expect HCD will provide a letter within the 60-day review period, potentially by Feb. 9.
Commissioners had no further questions and the commission moved on to the consent calendar. Staff noted that the city has received substantial feedback during earlier housing-element work and that the present submission follows those rounds of comment.
