Cloutier said the family was "gaslit" and subjected to an extended, hostile public address. Several trustees responded that an apology would be appropriate; one trustee said the district should review board conduct policies to prevent repeat incidents. The resolutions formally recognize the AANHPI and LGBTQIA+ communities and the board directed staff to consider follow‑up policy steps.
