The board said it received positive resident feedback about forming a technology-focused council and plans to develop an agenda with the North Bay Village Chamber of Commerce.
Chair said he will meet with Kristen Minh and Philip in the coming weeks to craft the first five agenda items for the tech council and that he is coordinating with a board member (Philip) to develop programming. "I have a meeting coming up with Kristen Minh and next week or I think in two weeks to kind of discuss the agenda," the chair said. The item will be discussed again at a future meeting once the agenda is drafted.
Why it matters: the council would centralize outreach and programming on tech topics for residents and local small businesses; board members said more updates are expected at the next meeting.
