Planning staff said the change would not allow new single-family dwellings beyond what the combined acreage permits and that the property was served by Rural Water District 7 and used a lagoon for wastewater. Applicant Jeff Horner said the application was "pretty much just what staff said" and that he had been working with staff to finalize the details. Commissioners voted to approve the rezoning and noted that the item will be forwarded for county-level consideration.
