Butler County planners recommended and the commission approved RZ24-19, a rezoning to allow the division of an approximately 18.42-acre parcel on Southwest Indianola Road into two tracts for sale.
Planning staff explained that the parcel lies inside the county's urban-growth area and that rural water service would be provided by Rural Water District 5; they recommended approval. Applicant Kayla Leese said she wanted to "break off the grass from the house" and sell that portion; she confirmed the parcel's general plan during the hearing. The commission voted 5-0 to approve the rezoning.
