The Butler County Planning Commission voted 5-0 to approve CU24-06, a conditional-use request from Kendall and Anita Kearney to build a 40-by-60-foot shop for agricultural equipment storage and to operate a lawn-care and landscaping business on a roughly 5.17-acre parcel near Southwest 100th Street in Augusta.
Planning staff described the proposed operational plan, including typical hours: "Typical operational hours will be from 7AM to 05:30PM, Monday through Thursday," and said traffic would consist largely of employee vehicles, company trucks and occasional deliveries. Staff recommended approval with conditions tied to the operational plan and noted there were no FEMA-mapped floodplain or dam-breach areas on the property. Owner Kendall confirmed the limited comment and thanked the commission. The motion to approve carried 5-0.
