Board authorizes bids for Macoby Creek restoration; discusses Yeakel Road stormwater options

Township Engineer Peter Eisenbrown presented options for the Macoby Creek streambank restoration project and the Board authorized advertisement for bids and asked staff to obtain a professional-services quote from Kellers Small Stream Solutions. The motion to advertise bids was moved by Tim Woodward, seconded by Dottie Diehl, and passed 5-0.
Eisenbrown also outlined erosion and stormwater-improvement options for Yeakel Road and discussed the possibility of applying for a Montgomery County Conservation District (MCCD) Low Volume Roads Grant for 2026. The Board asked Township Manager Anne Klepfer to contact the affected landowner, Mr. Shelly, to seek cooperation before selecting an option.
