Residents press supervisors to clear clogged basin, request dead-animal pickup

During public comment at the May 13 meeting, Brooke Burgy of Oakwood Drive asked the Board to "clean out and drain the 'basin'" at the corner of Creekview Drive and St. Pauls Church Road because it fills with water and attracts mosquitoes. Township Manager Anne W. Klepfer told attendees the Road Department is aware of the condition and has the site on its maintenance list for action and ongoing monitoring.
Later in public comment, resident Steve Harner of Gravel Pike asked whether police statistics could be posted to the township website Records Management Center and requested the township start removing dead or dying deer from property frontages. The Board declined the request to provide dead animal removal as a township service. No formal motion was made to add animal removal to township services.
