The council discussion cited a letter the Town Engineer sent to the developer in April 2024 that has not received a response.
The action places a temporary administrative hold on permitting within Lakeside pending technical confirmation of water-supply and distribution capacity. The Council did not set a date for lifting the restriction; the motion directs staff and the town engineer to confirm capacity before permits resume.
