Council asks for additional quote on treatment-plant ditch repair and delays Lakeside parking action

Water Superintendent Shawn Lane presented a quote from Good Life Landscaping to repair an eroding ditch and driveway at the treatment plant, saying the sides of the ditch are eroding and fence posts are exposed. Council members requested an additional quote and tabled the repair decision to the April meeting.
On a separate public-works item, President Schmidt said the Fire Department had not yet taken photos related to on-street parking concerns at Lakeside, and asked that the council defer the issue until the next meeting so evidence could be reviewed. No formal motions affecting either item were approved at the March 5 meeting.
