Trappe council reviews FY25/26 budget, schedules next workshop for March 18

Commissioner Schmidt presided over a Feb. 12, 2025, Trappe Town Council workshop that included a review of the proposed Fiscal Year 2025/26 budget. Council members Jeremy Newnam, Michael Sullivan, Rose Potter and Walter Chase participated in discussion and provided feedback and requested changes or additions to be incorporated for the next budget workshop.
The council paused budget discussion at 2:15 p.m. to meet with Livingston Septic on a sewer-lining matter, then resumed its budget review after the vendor left at 3:00 p.m. The minutes record that the next budget workshop is scheduled for March 18, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. With no further business, Commissioner Jeremy Newnam moved to close the workshop at 3:45 p.m.; Commissioner Michael Sullivan seconded and the motion was unanimously approved.
