Three bids received for ENR treatment plant design; council schedules interviews March 13

Attorney Lyndsey Ryan told the council three bids were received for the ENR treatment plant design and bidding phase. Rauch, Inc. submitted a base bid of $345,260 plus $45,000 for PFA treatment (total $390,260). KCI, Inc. bid $632,000 plus $47,500 for headworks (total $679,500). GMB bid $721,254.73 plus $64,967.16 for PFA treatment (total $786,221.89). Ryan said the council received a criteria scale to evaluate proposals and scheduled a Special Meeting/Workshop on March 13 at 1 p.m. to interview the firms prior to selection.
Council members discussed the bids and review criteria briefly and set the interview schedule; no selection was made at the March 5 meeting. The hiring decision will follow the interview and scoring process described by staff.
