Council member Charles Davis proposed drafting a resolution to clarify evacuation roles, ID access through roadblocks and business continuity, urging the council to incorporate lessons learned and to coordinate regular updates with county and state partners. Several council members recommended NIMS/FEMA training for elected officials so they can better coordinate with incident command and avoid access issues during multi‑agency responses.
