Council OKs $82,150 CSA for GIS development to map water, sewer and stormwater assets

Director Crockett told council the town has been digitizing infrastructure records and that Cycle 1 will catalog water-distribution assets, pipe types, flow direction and installation dates where available. He asked the council to award a CSA to Kimberly Horn & Associates for $82,150; the contract is included in the FY26 operating budget and staff said the technical lead from the contractor was available to answer questions.
"I'm here for your assistance in awarding this CSA to Kim my Horn in the amount of $82,150," Director Crockett said. Council member Mason moved approval and Council member Zeitler seconded; the motion passed by roll call, 5-0. Staff said the GIS will centralize asset information to reduce reliance on institutional knowledge and assist future maintenance planning.
