Calumet Council forms Blight Taskforce and Organizational Development Committee, makes appointments

Trustee Kelly Ryan presented proposals creating an ad-hoc Blight Taskforce to address blight in the village and a Standing Organizational Development Committee to support governance and reporting structures. Clerk Lori Weir suggested adding a bi-annual "tax reporting" item by the Treasurer to the proposed reporting structure; the council approved the committees and reporting additions unanimously, 5–0.
President Pro-Tempore Pamela Que moved to appoint members to the Blight Taskforce: Matt L'Esperance (Chair), Trustee Ariele Pizzo, Trustee Jim Tercha, DDA member Jason Wickstrom, Village Manager Megan Haselden, and Paula DeCaire (Village DPW representative). The council also appointed members to the Organizational Development Committee, naming Trustee Kelly Ryan as Chair and including Village President Rob Tarvis, President Pro-Tempore Pam Que, Manager Haselden, and Clerk Lori Weir. The minutes record that appointees who were absent remain listed and will participate as indicated.
