President Pro-Tempore Pamela Que opened the Sept. 23 Calumet Village Council meeting and the council moved quickly to its consent agenda. Trustee James Tercha moved, and Trustee Ariele Pizzo seconded, to approve the agenda and the consent items as amended; the motion carried on a 5–0 roll-call vote with two members absent.
The consent agenda included approval of the Aug. 19 regular meeting minutes (with edits requested and closed-session minutes pulled for further revision), special meeting minutes (Sept. 3 and Sept. 16), and the bills listing. The minutes record prior paid bills totaling $221,479.34 and new bills totaling $72,866.47; the council removed a $1,557 invoice from McCoy from the new bills before approving payment. Roll call vote on the consent agenda recorded Yeas: Smith, Ryan, Pizzo, Tercha, Que; Nays: none; Absent: Tarvis, L'Esperance.
The council did not provide additional detail on the removed McCoy invoice during the meeting; the clerk recorded the action and the amended minutes will reflect the change. The item was entered on the regular agenda so the public record will show the change when the minutes are published.
